Rice has the widest sowing area in my country, with more than 60% of the population using rice as the staple food. With population growth and nutritional demand increasing, rice yield and quality have become the focus of food and food safety. Related research relies on potted plant experiments, and it is crucial to optimize the ratio of potted planting methods to substrates. Potted plants in the seedling stage can shorten the test cycle and reduce costs. In recent years, many studies have been popularized and conducted.

Recently, Shandong Pengbo Biotechnology Co., Ltd. published an article entitled "The Effect of Complex Seedling Matrix on Rice Seedling Growth" in the journal "Northern Rice". The effect of organic seedling cultivation substrates mixed with brown loam and rice soil in different proportions on the growth of rice seedlings and related physiological indicators under greenhouse cultivation. The results show that: using principal component analysis (PCA) results in the dry weight above ground can represent the growth trend of rice, and the optimal treatment T2 (75% brown loam + 25% organic matrix) was selected, and the seedling cultivation substrate was better than other treatments and was more suitable for rice growth. It has good growth, and this experiment provides a theoretical basis for optimizing the cultivation and growth conditions of indoor rice seedlings.

The compound seedling matrix changed the physical and chemical indicators of the soil. The results of PCA analysis show that the above-ground dry weight can represent the growth trend of rice. The growth trends before and after the seedling stage are similar to those of T2 treatment. The growth trend is stable and optimal. The growth of rice is improved. The content of SPS activity, SAI activity and soluble protein promote the growth of rice stems, leaves and roots. This experiment provides data support for further research on the application of indoor potted substrates.
