Slow-release coated urea in feed
Category :
Keywords: Pengbo Biotechnology
Diurea content: ≤1.0%
Moisture: ≤0.5%
This product is only used in ruminant feed*
Features
1.The main component is urea. The urea in the coated urea is a non-protein nitrogen donor. After entering the rumen of ruminants, under the action of microorganisms, urea is gradually decomposed to produce ammonia. Ammonia is used by rumen microorganisms and converted into microbial protein, which provides ruminants with a high-quality source of protein.
2.Coating material.Urea is coated with coating materials such as fat, starch, and slow-release polymers. The purpose is to delay the decomposition rate of urea in the rumen.By controlling the release rate of urea, the rapid and large release of ammonia is effectively avoided, and the risk of ammonia poisoning is reduced.
3.Supplement the nitrogen source. The nitrogen content of urea coated is 42-46%, and the rich nitrogen source significantly increases the total nitrogen content of the feed, providing sufficient raw materials for the protein synthesis of ruminants.
4.Microbial protein synthesis. In the process of slowly releasing ammonia by coating urea, ammonia is efficiently integrated into the synthesis process of bacterial protein, so that ruminants can obtain high-quality protein from non-protein nitrogen resources.
5.Energy-protein synergy.Coated urea needs to be used in conjunction with easy-to-ferment carbohydrates such as corn and molasses. Easy-to-ferment carbohydrates provide energy for rumen microorganisms and promote microorganisms to use ammonia more efficiently to synthesize protein.
6.Improve security.Compared with ordinary urea, coated urea effectively reduces the risk of rapid hydrolysis in the rumen, and the release rate of ammonia can be accurately regulated, greatly reducing the occurrence of ammonia poisoning incidents, and providing ruminants with a safe and reliable nitrogen source choice.
Product advantage
1.Improve the utilization rate of rough feed.Coated urea is used as a daily food together with low-quality coarse feed (such as straw) and fed to ruminants. Rumen microorganisms obtain urea nitrogen supplementation, which improves the fiber decomposition vitality of coarse feed, which can significantly improve the fiber digestibility and convert the energy of coarse feed that was originally difficult to use into a form that can be absorbed and utilized, improving the energy conversion efficiency.
2.Improve cattle production performance.Adding a urea-coated diet, feeding beef cattle can significantly increase daily weight gain by 10-12%; feeding cows can increase milk production by 5-10%.
3. Reduce feed costs. As a relatively low-cost nitrogen source, coated urea can reasonably replace some high-priced protein feeds such as soybean meal. It can effectively reduce the cost of concentrate and bring direct economic benefits to farmers under the premise of ensuring nutritional needs.
4.Add accurately. The amount of urea added to the diet needs to be strictly controlled. The recommended amount is 0.5-1.5% of the dry matter of the diet, or 20-30% of the total nitrogen content of the diet.Excessive addition can easily lead to excessive ammonia concentration in the rumen, causing ammonia poisoning.
5.Gradual transition. The adaptation of the rumen microbial community of ruminants to the new nitrogen source takes time. When using urea, there is a transition period of 7-10 days.During the transition period, the amount of urea coated will be gradually increased, so that the rumen microorganisms have enough time to adapt to the new nitrogen source supply model, and the stability and normal function of the microbial community will be guaranteed. It is strictly forbidden to feed urea alone, and it cannot be dissolved in water and drunk directly. It must be fully mixed with energy feed before it can be fed to ruminants.
